Rich grew up in Michigan, where he reveled in observing spiders spin webs, experiencing thunderstorms, and having his mind blown encountering living dinosaurs (wild turkeys).
A certified Alaska Master Naturalist - he’s called Alaska home for 20 years. He’s smelled walruses, counted seabirds, tagged lynx and barfed in small planes tracking wolves. He has been involved with amazing Alaskan science institutions such as - the Alaska SeaLife Center, Campbell Creek Science Center and Audubon Alaska.
Nature is part of who he is and he loves nothing more than sharing his excitement for the natural world with audiences!
